«Mein Herz hat WLAN» – New Swiss Schlager Star Debuts with Impact

Zurich, March 31, 2026 — Wendy Hillen launches her debut single “Mein Herz hat WLAN” – in partnership with Swiss coworking provider Westhive.

What happens when inspiration doesn’t emerge in isolation, but right in the middle of life?

For Wendy Hillen (28), it all began after graduating, with a clear decision: she wanted to work on her music career—but not alone at home. Instead, she deliberately sought out an environment that would inspire and challenge her. She found it at Westhive.

There, surrounded by people, ideas, and daily exchange, she developed her very own approach to music. The coworking environment became a creative source for Wendy: encounters, conversations, and the energy of the space flowed directly into her songs.

With “Mein Herz hat WLAN” Wendy Hillen now releases her debut single—a modern pop-schlager track that captures this new reality: connection beyond screens, and emotions that arise where people come together. Her second track, “Hot Desk der Liebe,” also explores this theme, showing how closely work and personal encounters are intertwined today.

The authenticity of this story did not go unnoticed: Westhive became aware of Wendy, leading to a partnership that connects creative development with new ways of working.

Westhive has long observed that schlager—often underestimated—is surprisingly present even in urban, professional environments. The music stands for closeness, emotion, and community—values that are becoming increasingly important in the workplace.

As part of her upcoming concert tour, this connection will also become tangible:

At selected locations, a Westhive Lounge will be created where Wendy will welcome her biggest fans, media representatives, and Westhive members—a space for exchange, inspiration, and personal encounters. These lounges not only foster closeness to the artist but also open the door to new audiences and connections—fully aligned with the idea of an open, connected work environment.

With Wendy Hillen, not only is a new voice in pop-schlager emerging—but also a story about how creative energy arises where people work together.
