The terrorist who carried out the largest terrorist attack before 9/11. The bank robber who executed the biggest heist in world history. The first man in Virginia to be convicted of murder — without a body.
Experience a gripping true crime talk, told by Jens Söring, who spent decades behind bars with these men. The evening begins at 7:00 PM and lasts approximately three hours; afterwards, there will be an open Q&A session as well as the opportunity to purchase books and ask Jens Söring questions directly.
This program is not about Jens Söring’s own case, but about the stories of his fellow inmates from 33 years of imprisonment in the USA and the United Kingdom. He tells the story of the terrorist who committed the largest attack before 9/11, the bank robber who planned and carried out the biggest heist in history, and a murderer from Virginia who has been incarcerated for 45 years despite no body ever being found. These encounters provide personal insights into the mindset and daily lives of serious criminals, revealing how complex the people behind such crimes truly are.

Jens Söring is known as the son of a German diplomat who spent 33 years in US and British prisons and made headlines around the world. His case was featured, among others, in the Netflix true crime series “Till Murder Do Us Part: Soering vs. Haysom”, which attracted widespread attention in many countries. In 2019, he was released after decades in prison and deported to Germany; since then, he has toured the country with his live true crime events, filling venues in numerous cities with “Behind the Mask of Evil.” His biography and unique insider perspective on the prison system make him one of the few German-speaking true crime storytellers who does not speak about files, but about people with whom he shared a cell, daily life, and fate.
